Central Market, a high-end Texas grocer, promotes its products each year through a series of seasonal festival campaigns. For their Bacon Festival in 2018, I conceptualized, designed, and illustrated a series of in-store point-of-purchase banner and posters featuring playful WPA-style “National Pork” locales.
The campaign reimagined bacon as part of iconic national park landscapes, presented in the style of classic travel posters. I developed a range of humorous scenarios that integrated bacon into these natural settings, balancing whimsy with a retro aesthetic to engage shoppers and bring a memorable, lighthearted touch to the in-store experience. The project allowed me to combine conceptual illustration, typography, and layout design to create cohesive visuals that supported the festival’s theme while highlighting Central Market’s bacon offerings in a fun and unexpected way.
