I volunteered my design abilities to Dallas Pets Alive!, a North Texas–based animal rescue, by reaching out with the idea of creating fundraising apparel for their online store and in-person events. They asked if I could propose a mix of Texas- and Dallas-focused apparel designs. To maximize appeal across ages and genders, I explored a range of illustration styles and color palettes—intentionally incorporating Dallas Pets Alive!’s signature light blue and bright green into select designs to keep the collection connected to their brand identity.

The shirts quickly became bestsellers—selling out at in-person events and generating significant revenue online, which Dallas Pets Alive!’s executive director, Leslie Sans, described as a “huge success.”
