From out of the groves and into Central Market, it’s… Super Citrus! Central Market, a high-end Texas grocer, celebrates seasonal offerings through annual themed festivals. For the Super Citrus event, we assembled a mighty team of heroic fruits—each one a bold character with powers inspired by its strongest flavor or trait. Key Lime carried dishes with unexpected strength, Etrog’s aromatic rind made him impenetrable, and Meyer Lemon packed a punch worthy of any showdown.

I drew inspiration from the punchy palettes, halftone textures, and dynamic poses of vintage comic books, channeling that energy into illustrations created for posters, banners, social videos, and radio. Across stores, the campaign turned everyday citrus into a cast of pulp-powered heroes—arriving just in the nick of rind to fight for “juice-tice.”
